Linde’s unique position as a technology leader is the result of their constant drive for innovation. In a very competitive market environment, Linde has a decisive competitive edge. In order to safeguard that competitive edge, these innovations need to be protected – as Linde patents. Therefore, Linde has initiated the Linde Inventors Club, a company-wide top-level initiative strengthening Linde’s innovative power. The Inventors Club creates the perfect conditions for an open environment in which new ideas can be created, made the subject of productive discussions and finally realised, quickly and efficiently.
We develop the brand presentation of the Linde Inventors Club as an embedded brand: a striking logo derived from the “C” in Club as a deconstructed design, visualising the separate, specific phases of a patent development. For the trophy design, we dissolve this logo spatially, creating a sculptural, bowl-like icon – the award for the best submitted innovations. The company-wide initiative is accompanied by a wide range of communication media – image brochure, information flyer, registration, invitation to the evening event, portfolio, programme.
