Communication for the Berchtesgaden National Park

Architecture and design hand in hand

The national park centre Haus der Berge in Berchtesgaden is much more than just a museum: it combines an information centre, education centre and open area to form an harmonious triad. Each of these areas complements and builds on the content of the other two. As an advertising agency, we were commissioned with a very wide range of communication channels during the planning phase: development of the logo for the new museum, designing of an initial image brochure and a comprehensive planning brochure as the basis for the granting of the budget by the Bavarian State Government.

The unique location as a visual guiding idea

We have laid the foundation stone for the new visual appearance of Haus der Berge and created the new logo incorporating the unique location. An unmistakable combination of words and images, which is also taken up in the wide range of variations and materials in the architecture and facade design of the building. We have designed numerous brochures for the project – including the comprehensive planning brochure, which forms the basis for the granting of the budget by the Bavarian State Government. Here, too, the unique location of the museum – with its impressive, unique panoramic view far over Germany’s only Alpine national park – serves as the visual guiding idea.
