2013 Corporate Responsibility Report

Transparency and credibility

We have developed and structured a summary report of the key corporate responsibility activities in 2013 for our customer Deutsche Post DHL Group. This report has also been published as a comprehensive online version. The task: position CR documentation as a key element of corporate communication and and thus reinforce the stakeholders’ and general public’s perception of the company’s economic, environmental and social activities.

The idea

Deutsche Post DHL’s corporate strategy pursues the objective of being the first choice as a provider, employer and investment. In so doing, economic, sustainable activities form the basis for long-term success. Deutsche Post DHL fulfils the desires of its customers – who are constantly posing new requirements for service quality and speed – and at the same time it reduces its impact on the environment. Employees are met with respect and results are expected. The company focuses on its core competences and is actively involved in society. It connects people and markets. To put it briefly: “and” is a key word.

The result

The motto “And is a key word” has been used to create a convincing report on corporate responsibility for 2013. We use apparently contradictory pairs of words and images to visualise the conflicting priorities which the world’s leading postal and logistics group deals with successfully: one company and 480,000 faces. Act in the here and now and structure the future. Good for the environment and good for business. A striking “&” takes the reader from one topic to the next on shortened pages, while interesting pairs of images add a visual rhythm to the report.
